Frequently asked

Who needs a Liberia Film ID?
Every professional working in Liberian film and television — cast, crew, writers, producers, editors, VFX, stunts, and support roles. Students may register at the Student tier.
How long does approval take?
Most applications are reviewed within 5–10 business days once payment is confirmed. Complex cases requiring guild-reference verification may take up to 3 weeks.
Is the ID recognized outside Liberia?
Yes. The LIFI credential is recognized by our co-production partners, festival networks, and diaspora chapters. QR verification works globally.
What if my application is rejected?
You'll receive a written reason and may appeal or reapply with additional documentation. Membership fees are refunded on rejection minus a small review fee.
Can I switch guilds later?
Yes — from your dashboard. Some guild changes require review; Professional-tier changes require sign-off from both guild committees.
